I am not a fan of “Barbie” but I do understand why so many little black girls are “amazed” by her. She is like barbie from the hood..I guess. The fans my not be mentally retarded but they don’t have proper guidance in their lives at all. These girls are young as god knows what dressing and spittin’ like Nicki Minaj. I don’t agree with her using Barbie, the color pink, and candy to get young ppl interested and then talking about putting her Vag on sideburns. Young ppl and dumb tatoos go hand and hand so thats expected…not accepted but expected. SMH Save the children…please.

There is a difference between being a fan and a stan, and clearly getting someone TATTOOED (it is permanent) on your entire back or having their catchphrase across your whole chest/should area … umm there something wrong w/ that person.

Maybe going a little too far saying they are borderline autistic or something (that’s not PC lol) but clearly they are yearning for something in Nicki (what that is, I have no clue) and feel greatly attached to them.

Also, I hope these young folks think ahead, more than a few weeks, and truly believe they will love having “5 star chick” on them 5 years from now, or 10 when they have children.

Anyone would side-eye a person who got “Swagger on a 100 thousand trillion” tattooed on them or some other such nonsense. I just hope a right-minded person would be able to see that.

You have a point there Dandie and I definitely don’t hate on Nicki Minaj (If you read my older post “There’s Something About Nicki”, you will see that I do believe her style & presence is captivating and she’s going to take the rap world by storm in 2010. So no, I have no reason to put down Nicki Minaj nor have I ever.

BUT… Someone who tattoos “FIVE STAR CHICK across their chest or a picture of NICKI MINAJ on their back is NOT mentally stable in my book. Those are true definitions of the word FANatic.

So no, I am not going to be proud of my fellow black woman who thinks living the lifestyle Niki Minaj PORTRAYS is one to live by.

I’m sure Nicki doesn’t go into business meeting asking “WHO DA FIVE STAR B*TCH IS?!”… Even SHE knows its a PERSONA for entertainment purposes.

really tho? i would definitely say me n my girls r inbetweeners. I’m not really a die hard fan of anyone but i don’t hate Nicki Minaj or her “Barbie Movement”. I kno she’s a little quirky but to b callin fans mentally retarded is a bit much. I feel like we need to be proud of black women on the come up…she’s a pretty girl w/ her own unique swagg n even tho some people dick ride a bit much, she still must be doin sumthin right.
