Fashion Week in NYC officially kicked off yesterday and so far, I wasn’t “wow-ed” by anything… until today. Former Project Runway winner, Christian Siriano, is taking cocktail dresses and evening gowns to another level of couture with his Fall collection. Ruffles, rouching and regality took the runway show by storm. And Christian’s love for all things elegant, rich and dramatic was definitely evident.

And the SHOES!!!!!!! *faints*

As you may or may not know, Christian also has a fierce collection that is sold exclusively for Payless Shoes and the new Fall 2010 collection is SHOEGASM WORTHY! Inspired by vintage furniture and its classic swirled finishes, Christian is really taking these 6 inch “cost effective couture” heels to higher plains (literally and figuratively)!
