I must say, Ri Ri’s Blackberry sexting photos are quite editorial. From the great lighting, immaculate hair and makeup, and classy (not skanky) centerfold poses, those pics were definitely a turn on and Im a straight female!

Now I’ve seen some sexting pics that have been circulated via twitpic starring some unfortunate no-so-famous young ladies that are just …  -_- . *cue Exhibit A*

If you’re going to risk your integrity, let’s doing while looking good ladies. Although they are sweet in the beginning, most of these men aint sh*t and will show your pics to the homies if you two break up. Let’s take notes from Rihanna. Her sexting pictures always seemed to get leaked but DAMN she never looks bad in them.

Lesson 1: Less Is More

This rule is old as hell but definitely fact. Going buckey naked isn’t always necessary and leaving a little to the imagination never hurts (but showing dinner rolls, bullet wounds and c-section scars does). #REALTEARS

Lesson 3: Be Aware Of Your Surroundings.

Yes, you are the main focus of the picture but where the picture is taken definitely sets a tone. CHOOSE WISELY! smh.

Self explanatory. We all weren’t blessed with the photogenic gene and thats OKAY. If he asks for a sext pic its fine to decline. If he’s immature enough to chuck you the deuces because you didn’t send one, chances are he was going to show all his friends. You dodged a bullet.

Almost one year ago, Rihanna was practically hiding from all forms of media. Now she’s back and ready to take over as she hits another magazine cover—this time for W Magazine.

I’m feeling the photoshoot for this one. A lot more CLASSY and a lot more clothes than the GQ spread … well, almost.

Here’s a snippet from The W Magazine interview with Rih Rih:

“I wanted this album to have more bass, more bottom, grimier beats—to be less synth-y/pop-y/dance-y,” she says, wincing, as if to indicate that the hits that made her a star have started to grate on her. “My fans have until now been really young, like five years old to just before adulthood. But now older adults are into my music. Straight men too! Men couldn’t really bump my last album in the car. With this album they can play it and still feel tough.”

Since the release of Rated R, Rihanna has been trying her hardest to live up to the title. But now it’s becoming clear that she is trying a little TOO hard with her latest single, “Rude Boy,” and its promo photoshoot.

We know from previous interviews that she does NOT want to be a role model. But on the flip side, she is using that same star power to work with the world’s largest bone marrow donor center, DKMS, to find a Bone Marrow donor for one of her BIGGEST fans… 6-year-old Jasmina Amina.

I already know as a parent, I can never tell Rihanna to cover up or stop showing my daughter all this vulgar behavior. Rihanna is a 21-year-old woman, and I do know it’s my job to shield my child’s eyes and ears from such things that may be a negative influence.

But I will say one thing: Rihanna, if you don’t want to be a role model, do all of your charity work involving children and young adults anonymously so impressionable young girls like Jasmina are not first in line for an autographed copy of the album that features lyrics such as:

“Come here rude boy, boy
Can you get it up
Come here rude boy, boy
Is you big enough…”

Trust and believe, my child will get yanked off the line trying to buy an album with lyrics and imagery like THAT.

We all have to take responsibility here… I’m just saying. [Kanye Shrug]

The cover of the January 2010 issue of GQ magazine looks more like Playboy because “Good Girl Gone Bad” Rihanna went über sexy for the shoot.

Rih Rih displays gratuitous amounts of skin and raunchy poses. Meanwhile, in the actual interview she evades anything remotely close to a discussion of former boyfriend Chris Brown.

Here’s what GQ Correspondent, Lisa DaPaulo, said about the interview:

“You get the feeling that Rihanna still has a lot to say. Her eyes are wet when anything Chris Brown-related comes up. She has a tendency to stare off into the distance when she talks about It — but then she meets the glare of the manager. Maybe she does want to go there — and can’t. Or perhaps it is dawning on Rihanna that to really step out and be the kind of advocate she says she wants to be is another burden altogether.”

DePaulo on the photoshoot: “It’s very sexy, yeah. At one point [chairman, Island Def Jam Music Group] L.A. Reid came into the shoot, and he was like, “Rihanna, put some f*****g clothes on!”

It’s quite clear that the back and forth “he said, she said” via 20/20 interviews are not helping the public forget about the events that happened back in February of this year or boosting either parties album sales (because NO ONE’s knocking Susan Boyle off the top spot lol).

So maybe a ploy of showing more skin, shedding the sweet Island Girl image completely, and really living up to the “RATED R” album title WILL distract anyone from asking, “What happened that night?” and start asking, “Where the f*ck are your clothes?”
